Hannah has a joint degree from the University of Edinburgh in Linguistics and Japanese, and an MSc from the University of York in Forensic Speech Science. Her research areas include World Englishes, Language Analysis for the Determination of Origin (LADO), and Socio-Phonetics.
Due to Dr. Hedegard's maternity leave, from now until May 1st 2024, BA students with surnames A-L who have new inquiries or questions should direct them to Dr. Gonçalves. From May 1st until December 31st 2024, all inquiries and questions from BA students with surnames A-L should be directed to Dr. Gonçalves.
